A court in the city of Tarudant, in southern Morocco, has sentenced a man and a woman to four and two months of firm prison, respectively, for torturing their 7-year-old daughter, to which the genitals burned, today report several local media.
The information portal Le360.ma explained that the Court of First Instance of Tarudant, about 600 kilometers south of Rabat, on Tuesday sentenced the girl's father to four months in jail and her mother to two months.
This case goes back to January 19 when the neighbors of the couple, alarmed by the girl's screams, they called the police, which had to break into the house after receiving an authorization from the Prosecutor.
