Zaragoza, May 27 (EFE) .- “Zaragoza, border city” is the first fiction series that involves real businesses, in which the Aragonese capital is the protagonist and encourages entrepreneurs from Zaragoza and for which they are looking for its protagonists through the Tik Tok network.
The project has brought together the production company Mil y una Historias and the digital agency 3lemon, two companies from Zaragoza with a great international presence, and has the support of Zaragoza Turismo.
“Zaragoza, border city” are the people of Zaragoza fighting for their dreams with the main objective of carrying out their businesses, the director of Mil y Una Historias, Idoya Barrabés, has expressed during the presentation of the series.
Barrabés added that they have a “special interest” in giving visibility to the brands that participate in this project by merging real businesses in fiction, and the purpose of this series is that “Zaragoza, once again, is the place where the things happen”.
This project wants to reach new digital audiences and discover new talents of content creators in the city of Zaragoza, said the director of 3lemon, Beatriz Chaverri.
In addition to giving a “close and natural” view of the Aragonese capital and making the stories of the people of Zaragoza known outside the borders, Chaverri added.
The series focuses on the digital world and, in its eight chapters, the protagonists will experience extreme situations, a plot with stories full of ambition and secrets in an environment full of humor and everyday life.
Zaragoza should be “a film location” and this project seeks to promote it as a “film setting”, said Lucía Martínez, the production manager of Mil y Una Historias.
The casting will take place, for the first time in Spain, through the social network Tik Tok in which all interested parties, of legal age, must upload their video showing their talent. Subsequently, part of the videos will be chosen by the audience of this social network and the rest will be done by the technical team.
The objective of this videocasting is to reach a larger audience without the need to travel geographically to other places, explained the casting director, Cristina Montull, based on the “worldwide presence” and the promotion of creativity that this digital platform has .
The event was presented by the representative of the Zaragoza Film Office, Teresa Azcona, who called this project “very innovative”.
This series is like “a startup launcher” since it gives “prominence to those who normally do not have it”, businessmen, entrepreneurs, all those capable of creating new ideas, and Zaragoza becomes one more character, Azcona added.
The event was also attended by the manager of Turismo Zaragoza, Conrado Molina, the film director Bruno Hernández, the vice president of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Zaragoza, Pablo Murillo, and the vice mayor and counselor for Culture and Foreign Projection, Sara Fernández , who closed the event pointing out that this project turns Zaragoza into a “land of opportunities”.
The chapters will begin to be recorded in the month of July and it is expected that during the last quarter of this year it can be broadcast in different specialized festivals.
