The electricity price for regulated rate customers linked to the wholesale market it will fall 12.4% this Thursday, thus moving away from the maximums registered in the last two days, although it will remain above the level of 380 euros per megawatt hour (MWh).
Specifically, the price will stand at 382.11 euros/MWh, 54.14 euros lower than the 436.25 euros/MWh that it marked for this Wednesday, which is its highest level since the cap came into force to gas in mid-June, according to provisional data from the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE) collected by Europa Press.
In the auction, the average price of electricity in the wholesale market - the so-called 'pool' - has been located for this Thursday at 161.88 euros/MWh. The maximum price will be recorded between 4:00 am and 5:00 am at €0.60308/kWh. The minimum price will be given between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at €0.37296/kWh.

To this price of the 'pool' is added the compensation of 220.23 euros/MWh to the gas companies that has to be paid by the consumers who benefit from the measure, the consumers of the regulated rate (PVPC) or those who, despite being in the free market, they have an indexed rate.
