These are the cheapest hours of electricity for this Saturday, August 27

The average price of electricity in the wholesale market will rise by 21.23% this Saturday and will stand at 385.85 euros per megawatt hour (MWh), with the cost of the 'pool' and compensation to gas companies, compared to at 318.29 euros this Friday, according to the latest data from the Iberian Electricity Market Operator (OMIE) collected by Servimedia.

The price of the 'pool' will remain at 160.04 euros, 8.72% less than the 175.33 euros this Friday. The most expensive time will be between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., when the price will rise to 242.82 euros, while the cheapest will be between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at 127 euros.

For its part, the amount of gas compensation will reach 225.81 euros, compared to 142.96 euros this Friday, which translates into a reduction of 57.95%. This is the second highest figure reached by the compensation after 263.9 this Wednesday.

In a year-on-year comparison, this Saturday there will be a 224% increase in prices, since on August 27 of last year the price was 118.99 euros per MWh.
