These are the cheapest hours for this Thursday, July 28

The average price of electricity in the wholesale market will rise this Thursday by 16.97%, standing at 292.61 euros per megawatt hour (MWh), with the cost of the 'pool' and compensation to gas companies, compared to 250.16 euros today, according to the latest data from the Iberian Electricity Market Operator (OMIE), collected by Servimedia.
The price of the 'pool' will remain at 169.86 euros, 14.58% more than the 148.25 euros of this Wednesday. It will be the highest cost of the 'pool' since last June 17. This value will range between 151.17 euros between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and 180 euros between 12:00 a.m. and 01:00 a.m.
In addition, the amount of the gas compensation will reach 101.91 euros per MWh, compared to 93.23 euros, which translates into a rise of 9.31%. The figure is 14.13% higher than the 89.29 euros of compensation on Wednesday of last week.
The compensation will reach its highest peak between 06:00 and 07:00 with 176.64 euros and the lowest will be between 15:00 and 16:00 with 90.71 euros.

In a year-on-year comparison, this Thursday there will be a 206% increase in price since on July 28 of last year the price was 95.57 euros per MWh.
