The general secretary of Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, has assured today that there is still "no date" for his meeting with the leader of ERC, Oriol Junqueras, but he added that "it will be soon" and to talk about "everything".
Speaking to reporters in the halls of Congress, Iglesias has indicated that the day he will visit Junqueras in the Catalan prison of Lledoners has not yet been finalized, when asked if they will meet next Friday as published by La Razón.
Has specified that during the meeting, which has been preparing since the summer, will speak "of everything", not just the budget bill agreed by the Government with Podemos.
In his Twitter account, ERC deputy Gabriel Rufián criticized the visit of Iglesias to Junqueras and asked him to mediate to free the imprisoned pro-independence leaders for their participation in the separatist "procès".
"Instead of going to press a cell of Lledoners to approve the PSOE budgets, you can go to pressure a Moncloa office to free nine Democrats from a wild, unjust and vengeful sentence," Rufián wrote.
For the Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, the meeting with Junqueras is a question that corresponds exclusively to the general secretary of Podemos.
However, it has affected that it must be borne in mind that people who, like Junqueras, are in preventive detention have not lost their rights and, therefore, can receive visits under the ordinary regime.
