The rescue teams looking for Julen, the 2-year-old boy who fell into a narrow, deep well in Totalán (Málaga) on Sunday, have opted to suspend the construction of a horizontal tunnel due to problems in the terrain and continue with the clearing to make a parallel cavity.
Sources of the location device have informed Efe today that the well where the child fell is already piped and that the problems of the horizontal tunnel lie in the fact that they have encountered rocks.
The works to rescue the child continue this Thursday when it is about to be fulfilled on the fourth day since he fell into the well when he spent a field day with family and friends.
The goal is to reach 80 meters deep, where it is believed that Julen is found, of whom a hair was found among the solid material extracted these days from the well.
The rescue device is made up of a hundred people and private companies collaborate with it, and the Hunosa Mining Rescue Brigade.
