Directed by the Pole Tomek Baginski, and with a cast that has the British actor Henry Cavill, the Superman in various films, such as Batman Vs Superman or The League of Justice, among others, in The Witcher becomes a hunter of monsters named Geralt de Rivia. The actresses Anna Shaffer, MyAnna Buring and Anya Charlotra, complete the main character of this series.

With a forecast of eight episodes and release date after the summer, the series began shooting in the city of Budapest in October last year.
