The Venezuelan Government rejects the US proposal of a transitional Executive



The Venezuelan government rejected on Tuesday the US proposal. to form a transitional Executive that is made up of government officials and opponents, although without the presence of President Nicolás Maduro or opposition leader Juan Guaidó, who has also supported the plan.

“The Bolivarian Government reiterates that Venezuela is a free, sovereign, independent and democratic country, which does not accept, nor will it ever accept any tutelage, from any foreign Government,” reads a statement from the Foreign Ministry, which describes the proposal as a “profanity” .
