The ULPGC debates the keys to emotional education - The Province

The Faculty of Education Sciences (FCEDU) of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) organizes the next days April 8 and 9, the third edition of the Days of Educational Innovation, that as in previous years, are open to the participation of the entire educational community.

The III Conference of Educational Innovation of the center, which will open on Monday, April 8, at 4:00 pm in the auditorium of the Faculty of Educational Sciences (Campus of the Obelisk) and will run until Tuesday, April 9 , will deal with 'Around Emotional Education'.

The meeting is structured in conferences in different formats during the afternoon of Monday, April 8, which can be followed via streaming through Open ULPGC; and Workshops in synchrony, in the morning and afternoon of Tuesday. The closure is scheduled at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 9, and will consist of a few words and a Biodanza session in the courtyard of the Obelisk Campus.

Attendees will have at their disposal in the lobby of the main building of the Faculty, an exhibition table of reading proposals on emotional education, by the Canaima Bookstore.

The III Conference of Educational Innovation of the FCEDU has the collaboration of the Vice-Rectorships of Culture and Society and of Qualifications and Permanent Training, OPEN ULPGC, University Library, Cabildo Insular de Gran Canaria, Ministry of Education and Universities, Canaima Bookstore, Óscar Imbernón-Biodaza Las Palmas and Folder Papelería.

The conference opens on Monday with the inaugural conference 'Feel: Emotional Education Program and Mindfulness in the Classroom', by Gurutze Díez Rodrigo, founder of the Siente Project in Vizcaya. An intervention that will give way later, towards 18.00, to the colloquium 'Emotional education: A different look at teaching', in which Jordi Planella (UOC) and Antonio Rodríguez (ULL)

On Tuesday, April 9, between 10 a.m. and 12 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., 14 workshops will be held in synchrony: Relational Education Workshop, Scratch Workshop, Alternative Methodology Workshop, Body Expression Workshop, Performance Workshop -Didactic theater, Gamification workshop, Workshop on childhood distress, Self-efficacy workshop and emotional skills in adolescents, Emotions Workshop from Mindfulness, Workshop Aesthetic emotions, Workshop Emotions and gender violence, Emotion Workshop with music, exciting Library Workshop, Emotions Workshop on the loss of loved ones.
