The ULPGC has held a session of its Governing Council with a telematic vote of its members with three points on the agenda. The members of the Governing Council have given their agreement to all of them, for which they have been approved.
The first point refers to the proposal of academic calendar for the academic year 2021-2022, which sets the start of the first semester on September 9 and that of the second semester on January 31 for the Degrees; on September 9 and February 7, respectively, for the master’s degrees; and for studies of teletraining, on September 13 and January 31, respectively.
The centers may dedicate the first week, in the case of degrees and non-face-to-face official studies, to carrying out academic activities such as welcome days, defense of final degree and master’s degree projects, special call, etc. . In the case of master’s degrees, the start of classes for the first semester can be delayed until September 27.
The second agreed point is the credit proposal to the candidates for rector definitively proclaimed by the Central Electoral Board to defray the expenses derived from the electoral campaign, which indicates that each candidate will have a total credit of three thousand euros (€ 3,000.00). Candidates may make use of this credit to meet the various concepts of current expenses that they have to attend to in the development of their electoral campaign, with the exception of those considered as formal and representative services.
Finally, point number 3 refers to the license application submitted by a university professor.
