The 'Trans' opens on May 20 the registration period for 2022

The Transgrancanaria already sets its sights on the year 2022 after the historic edition was left behind, in which the event was held with great success, premiering exhaustive health protocols that allowed the event to go ahead with about two thousand runners. With more than eleven months in advance, the organization is already working on a new adventure with the wish that the conditions allow the usual sports festival to return to the Island of Gan Canaria. Registration opens on May 20.

The event is scheduled for next year. On the weekend of March 4 to 6, the 23rd edition will take place, a milestone that places it among the pioneers and longest-lived in the world. This time the 360º challenge will not be included in its program, which becomes independent and will take place from 24 to 28 November this year. Thus, the Trans will focus on its other usual distances, that is, the Classic, Advanced, Marathon, Starter, Promo and Kids.

The next date to highlight on the calendar is the opening of registrations. On Thursday, May 20, the period for the reservation of places will open through the official website of the race. As in recent years, the organization will provide an initial discount period for registrations, as well as discounts for residents of the Canary Islands.

The Trans of 2021 allowed greater care to the corridor and less overcrowding of the trails. The organization wants to continue in this line, so the usual registration will be limited again.
