The president of the Generalitat, Quim Torra, has attended this afternoon the meeting of the cabinet to monitor the mobilizations for the sentence of the "procés", which has confirmed the "civic and democratic development" of the calls for this Saturday, the day of 10N reflection.
According to sources from the Generalitat, to the cabinet meeting, created when protests began for the sentence and that this weekend focuses on ensuring the security of the election date, the Vice President of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, also attended and the consellers Miquel Buch (Interior) Meritxell Budó (Presidency) and Ester Capella (Justice).
In the meeting the mobilizations that have taken place during the last week of the electoral campaign have been analyzed, as well as the calls for today's reflection day, of which they have highlighted their "civility" and the absence of "notable incidents".
Most of the mobilizations on Saturday have consisted of concerts, talks and events convened by Tsunami Democràtic in about 300 Catalan towns, which have gathered several thousand people and have passed without incident.
The cabinet has also evaluated the preparations to guarantee security on tomorrow's election day, when the Government will adopt "all the necessary measures to guarantee the normal functioning of the electoral process," according to these sources.
