The Supreme Court judged him for his role as third secretary of the Parliamentary Board, when he was a deputy of Catalunya Sí que es Pot, when processing the most outstanding sovereign initiatives of the procés against what was ordered by the Constitutional Court. Her colleagues from Mesa have already been sentenced for these same acts: Carme Forcadell to 11 and a half years in prison for sedition, while the other three pro-independence members of the Table to twenty months of disqualification for disobedience.

During his statement in the trial that was held before the high court on March 25, Nuet explained that, by supporting certain agreements of the Board of the Parliament of Catalonia during the process, his intention was not to contravene the mandates of the court of guarantees but, rather on the contrary, try to make the independence movement "go through constitutional channels."
