An optimal fiber
The proposal 'Gran Canaria Fibra Sonora', in its digital format, seeks to highlight the importance of the work of the pop-rock music groups of Gran Canaria, especially in a year in which the sector has seen limited capacity for their shows or their concerts canceled due to the pandemic situation.
A total of 48 musicians will thus get on the virtual stage of 'Gran Canaria Fibra Sonora', which has the commitment of the Cabildo Gran Canaria to schedule its second in-person edition in 2021, if sanitary conditions allow it, and which will promote the celebration of an itinerant festival through different municipalities of the island, with an offer that will include parallel activities such as conferences, round tables and master class.
The 'Gran Canaria Fibra Sonora' proposal has a budget of 20,000 euros, contemplated in the so-called 'Covid-19 Emergency Cultural Plan' of the Ministry of Culture of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria.
