The themes encompass personal stories that convey a universal message
The story of Andrés Suárez is the greatest example of how far the combination of perseverance and talent can take you. The career of this Galician singer-songwriter has gone, in just a decade, from playing in the bars of his native Ferrol or in the Madrid metro, to filling the Wizink Center and crowding theaters and stadiums.
Andrés’ discography is a compendium of his personal evolution: De ida (2002), Ways to break a wave (2008), Stones and puddles (2010), When the tide returns (2012), Moraima (2013), My little story (2015) and Desde Una Ventana (2017), which went straight to number 1 in sales in its first week of release.
These albums have been consolidating the style of an artist who does not deny the concept of singer-songwriter. A label that in his opinion has nothing to do with the image to which this genre is usually associated.
