The series 'Eighteen'what will broadcast on the RTVE Play platformalso has chosen Gran Canaria to develop part of his filming this week.
El Confital beach and a house on Anzofé street are two of the locations chosen last Monday for this production by Little Dreams Films AIE, Set Màgic Audiovisual, The Fly Hunter and Empatic Films, which has the participation of RTVE Play, À Punt Mèdia and IB3, to film different scenes of this fiction whose cast they lead the young performers Alicia Falcó and Maël Rouin-Berrandou.
Pau Escribano and Damià Serra Cauchetiez are the scriptwriters of 'Eighteen', a series whose filming began on October 9 in the Valencian Community, in whose capital the story it tells is confined.
Specific, develops the story of Cèlia and Moha, who meet in a kitchen. For the first, this job is a penalty, since a judge sentenced her to work in that establishment as part of the hours of community service that she imposed on her. For her part, Moha considers this job as a vehicle to achieve her dream, which is none other than having papers.
As they both overcome their own prejudices, they will discover that they have many more things in common than they thought a priori.
Those responsible for the series defend that it is a fiction about "the lack of communication". Also about "impossible love" between its protagonists and about the constant battle carried out by Sandra, the social educator who works with the two protagonists.
«'Eighteen' tells us about false lies, about misunderstandings and of people who always walk on alert," say its authors.
Hammudi Al-Rahmoun Font and Damià Serra Cauchetiez are in charge of directing this series whose filming on the island will take place to Saturday.
The Canarian company Jugoplastikaheaded by Chedey Reyes, collaborates in the filming of this series in the Canary Islands, which also has an island presence in its cast.
