The EvAU will be held between June 22 and July 10 in ordinary call and before September 10 in extraordinary, as approved by the Sectoral Conference on Education, in which the ministries of Education and FP, Universities and Autonomous Communities participate. At the moment, only three autonomous communities will do the tests in July: Basque Country, Navarra and Murcia.

The proposed dates for carrying out the EvAU will depend, however, on the evolution of the pandemic, but, in principle, it has been established that ratings released before July 17 for the ordinary call and before September 18 in the case of the extraordinary. The definitive allocation of places cannot be made before September 25.
The Minister of Education and FP, Isabel Celaá, wanted to reassure families by ensuring that “nobody has to worry excessively because the current situation is already quite worrying, but we are working so that no student misses the course due to the pandemic and to that all students can be evaluated in fair and equitable conditions ”.
Although there was agreement on almost all the agreed matters, one of the issues that generated controversy was that of the exam evaluation criteria Selectivity depending on the community. Lomce evaluations suspended
On the other hand, the Ministry plans to issue a resolution by which the diagnostic evaluations of the LOMCE are suspended (3rd and 6th grade of primary and 4th grade of ESO). Some autonomous communities, such as Madrid, had already requested it to avoid the “overload” of educational centers. One aspect that has been taken into account to suspend the evaluations has been precisely the fact of the difficulty of some disadvantaged students to access the technological means that allow them to follow classes remotely like the rest.
Oppositions to Secondary
At the meeting, it was agreed to postpone a final decision on holding the Secondary exams next week. Apparently, Education believes that it is a decision that depends on the autonomous communities, although it would be desirable for a unanimous decision to be taken on this aspect. In this sense, Madrid has already ensured that it will keep the scheduled date for June 20 and Catalonia for the beginning of July, although everything will depend on how the pandemic evolves. However, it does not seem that all the autonomous regions hold a unanimous opinion on this matter. Some have stated that they preferred to postpone the oppositions until 2021 and others to keep them until 2020.
FP internships in work centers
Regarding the duration of the internships for VET students in work centers (FCT), it has been agreed to limit exceptionally to the minimum hours included in the basic regulations, that is, 220 hours. Likewise, the FCT module will be exceptionally integrated with a project module so that the objectives associated with the work environment can be addressed. This measure will affect both basic VET, as well as intermediate and higher grade.
In relation to the entrance tests to the FP of medium or higher degree for those who do not have the academic requirements of access to these teachings, it has been agreed to postpone them as necessary, even reaching the first fortnight of July, ensures the Ministry .
On the other hand, the Ministry has set up an address and a telephone so that families can manage the homologation of the studies of the nearly 8,000 students who study outside of Spain.
