Noelia Vera, Secretary of State for Equality, has announced on social networks that she is leaving politics. “It has been a personal and complicated decision, because after seven years in this which I consider my home, I do not want to disappoint so many colleagues who gave me the responsibilities that I have honored,” he pointed out. With his departure, Ángela Rodríguez will take over the position he had in the Ministry of Equality and Juan Antonio Delgado will replace him as a deputy for Cádiz in Congress.

In his farewell message he explained that “in politics the most valuable thing is to be honest and tell the truth; and the truth is that when the body warns you have to know how to stop, take a breath and take other paths.”
