The second flight of the sanitary air corridor has arrived in Spain early this Tuesday with another 30 tons of protection material destined for public and private hospitals, and the third flight of this operation is already in China to stock up on more product.
The three companies that have organized and manage the corridor -the Spanish Federation of Health Technology Companies (Fenin), Grupo Oesía and Iberia- have stressed, in a statement, that the objective of this operation is to guarantee the arrival of the most important sanitary material. it is scarce, especially masks and other protective materials (PPE), essential to guarantee the protection of health personnel.
The sanitary air corridor, coordinated through a logistics center managed by Fenin, has the support of the Ministries of Health, Foreign Affairs, Finance and Industry and Commerce and Tourism, which help to carry out and facilitate the complex procedures that an operation requires of great importance, especially in the current stage of the international health crisis.
