The SCS fails in its latest attempt to prevent the doctors’ strike

The last attempt of the Canary Islands Government, through Canary Islands Health Service (SCS), for Preventing the Archipelago doctors’ strike called for today ended in failure. The Confluence of Doctors and Physicians of the Canary Islands rejected the proposal presented yesterday by Conrado Domínguez and Avelina Díaz, director and director of human resources –respectively– of the SCS. In the last negotiation, as happened in the previous weeks, one point kept the two parties in irreconcilable positions: the free attendance to the oppositions for medical specialists in the area.
