The interannual advance of August, with which the sale of homes chains five consecutive months of increases, is lower than that achieved in July, when this indicator rose by 16.2%.
Transactions on used homesthey increased by 6.9% in Augustin relation to the same month of 2017, to total 36,462, while the purchase and sale of new homes increased by 9.6% year-on-year, to 8,175 transactions.
90.1% of the dwellings transmitted by sale in the eighth month of the year were free dwellings and 9.9% protected. Thepurchase of free housingit increased 6.7% in August in interannual rate, to add 40,215 transactions, while operations on subsidized housing advanced 14.1%, with 4,422 transactions.
In monthly terms (August on July), the sale of homes fell by 2.8%, its biggest drop in one month of August since 2015.
