The RFEF studies changing the date of the second leg between Valencia and Athletic
The first leg match between Valencia CF Y athletic-club corresponding to the semifinals of the Copa del Rey and the date of the return duel could be modified in the next few hours. And it is that the Royal Spanish Football Federation is studying to modify the aforementioned date due to the unequal rest between the two clubs.
It was Marcelino who reported this circumstance in the press conference prior to the first leg clash, calling it "injustice" that Valencia CF had up to 48 more hours of rest compared to the Basque team. The duel date set right now is March 2. Athletic visits the Camp Nou on February 27, that is, three days before. While Valencia disputes that same day its match on the 25th in Mallorca, thus enjoying two more days of rest.
Right now, the Federation plans to approve this measure and set the date of the final second leg on March 3which was one of the proposals that Marcelino commented on in his appearance before the media.
