In this regard, it should also be remembered that this week two new mass vaccination points are activated in Gran Canaria, located in the Juan Carlos I Hospital and in the fighting ground of the La Presa sports complex, in Pedro Hidalgo, which are added to the points located in Pavilion VII of Infecar -which since last week has doubled its vaccination capacity with the incorporation of a dozen booths-, ExpoMeloneras, Vecindario, Guía, Gáldar and the two university hospitals on the islands.

On the other hand, the Canary Islands notified 114 new coronavirus infections yesterday, which increases the total balance of accumulated cases in the Archipelago to 57,937. Currently, the islands have 1,738 active cases, of which 28 are admitted to the ICU and 186 remain hospitalized.
