The reservoir water reservoir drops to 56.3 percent



The water reservoirs recorded a decrease with respect to the previous week and the Spanish water reserve recorded 56.3 percent of its total capacity, currently accumulating 31 591 cubic hectometres (hm³) of water.

According to the Ministry for the Ecological Transition (Miteco), reserves have decreased in the last week by 1.2 percent of the current total capacity, which means 650 cubic hectometres.

This decrease is due to the scarce rainfall that has occurred on the Atlantic slope and the virtually zero in the Mediterranean slope. The maximum precipitation has occurred in León, with 25.2 mm (25.2 l / m2).
