The rate falls below 600 cases in those over 60 years of age and Health has notified 117 deaths since Friday

The Ministry of Health has added 33,293 more coronavirus infections since Friday. This brings the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic that have been reported by tests to 12,436,538.

The incidence in people over 60 falls below 600 and stands at 586.71 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. In the last report it marked 617.92 positives.

Likewise, today's report adds 117 deaths, the lowest figure since the counting and notification system was modified in mid-March.

This places the total figure since March 2020 at 106,914. Of the total deaths, 194 have taken place in the last seven days.

In hospitals, as of this Tuesday, there are 6,761 people admitted, which translates into an occupation of 14.27%. Compared to the previous report, admissions have risen by 280. In the ICUs, there are currently 322 COVID-19 patients, three fewer than last Friday.
