THE PROVINCE / DLP The Public Library projects the filmAladdintoday, at 11.30 am, within the cycleCinemain family that takes place every Saturday.
The film, directed by Guy Ritchie, is about Aladdin (Mena Massoud), an adorable but unfortunate thief in love with the Sultan’s daughter, Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott). To try to conquer it, accept the challenge of Jafar (Marwan Kenzari), which consists of entering a cave in the middle of the desert to find a magic lamp that will grant all your wishes. That’s where Aladdin will meet the Genie (Will Smith), starting an adventure like he had never imagined before.
While it is true that the original idea of Aladdín starts from the desire to adapt the well-known Arab history ofArabian Nightsthat contained the story ofAladdin and the Wonderful LampTo turn it into an animated film, it was in 1988 that Howard Ashman suggested Disney make this adaptation with composer Alan Menken. However, the remake in real action introduces several changes, adapting it to situations and actions that are related to the present society at the time of making the tape. The most relevant changes lie in Princess Jasmine and the Genie; This does not mean that the outcome and development are different, they are simply key changes from the original. The film is an adaptation in real image of the 1992 animated film of the same name by Disney, based on the Arab fairy tale of the same name.
