In a press conference, he affirmed that there is a parliamentary majority that considers that the Government "has exhausted its project", reason why it thinks that all the groups of the opposition should vote in favor of this initiative, although they have different reasons.
The motion calls for the Parlament to find inoperability of the Government of the Generalitat, the lack of budgets for 2019 and "the loss of the parliamentary majority".
Pedret explained that this motion is "a sad observation that the Government has been unable to act within the scope of its powers beyond being carried away by inertia."
He considers that the Executive of Torra has lost the parliamentary initiative and "there is no feasible political project on the part of the Government".
For that reason, he has defended that "it would be convenient to give the floor to the House" in a matter of confidence to verify the support of Torra or to give the voice to the citizenship in new Catalan elections.
Asked why the Prosecutor wants to investigate a dozen of 1-O voters, Pedret has responded that he does not have enough elements to assess it, but that it is "very isolated incidents."
