The progressive members of the CGPJ criticize that they were excluded from the meeting with the Council of Europe

Gianni Buquicchio, president of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, visited Spain last week. Held an informal meeting with the first vice president of the Government, Carmen Calvo, and with the Foreign Minister, Arancha González Laya, and visited the Constitutional Court. Buquicchio also held a meeting with two members of the General Council of the Judiciary, who conveyed their concerns about the reform of the Judiciary, which limits its functions while the mandate has expired. The meeting was only later informed to the rest of the members the following day; progressives criticize that they have been left out.
