The price of Brent crude oil falls 4.2%, to $ 26.55

The price of Brent crude for delivery in May opened today with a downward trend and was trading this morning at $ 26.55, a fall of 4.2% compared to the close of the previous day.

North Sea oil, a benchmark in Europe, ended the day on Wednesday at $ 27.72, after the United States announced its economic stimulus measures.

The value of oil has fallen in recent weeks due to concerns about demand, as governments apply drastic measures to maintain “social distancing” as a way to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
