The Portuguese poet Ana Luisa Amaral (Lisbon, 1956) has been awarded the XXX Reina Sofía Prize for Ibero-American Poetry, the most important recognition of poetry in Spanish and Portuguese that aims to reward the set of the poetic work of a living author.

National Heritage of Spain has announced this morning the ruling of this award, endowed with 42,100 euros, and granted by that institution and the University of Salamanca with the intention of recognizing a poetic work that constitutes a relevant contribution to cultural heritage common of Latin America and Spain.
