The president of the PDeCAT, David Bonvehí, today has called "definitive" the "no" of his formation to the General Budgets of the State for 2019, but has commented that if the Government decides to approve decrees that allow to improve the living conditions of the Catalans, your party will "study" them.
This is what Bonvehí said today at the II Associate Festival of the districts of Barcelona, which was held in Sentmenat (Barcelona).
Bonvehí has reproached the president of the Government, Pedro Sanchez, who has not "given a political solution to Catalonia" nor has he "urged" the Prosecutor's Office or the State Bar to change its position regarding imprisoned sovereign leaders.
"As there have been no such actions (…) we can not sit down to negotiate budgets, Sanchez knows that our 'no' is irremovable and definitive," stressed the independence leader.
On the other hand, Bonvehí has assured that if the Government "decides to approve decrees that allow the Catalans to improve their living conditions, such as the Minimum Interprofessional Salary, this will go elsewhere and we will study whether we support these measures" , has added.
The leader of the PDeCAT has also said that the statements made by the vice president of the Government, Carmen Calvo, in the sense that "no government of any democracy in the world takes prisoners from the prisons" does not help either with the independence formations. .
Asked if Pedro Sanchez should anticipate the elections if he fails to approve the accounts for 2019, Bonvehí has assured that this is a decision that belongs to him, and that his party is "ready" for Sanchez to "call elections whenever he wants" .
