The Opera Season recovers ‘La Traviata’ and ‘La Boheme’ at the Alfredo Kraus

The 53rd Opera Season of which Amigos Canarios de la Ópera (ACO) organizes announced yesterday that “after many months of uncertainty and negotiations” as a result of the coronavirus health crisis, two of the titles scheduled for 2020 will finally be able to be performed at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium.

With capacity reduction for 650 spectatorss by function, La Traviata, by Verdi, will be performed on October 20, 22 and 24, with the voices of Jessica Pratt, Celso Albelo and Ludovic Tezier in the leading roles, with stage direction by Alfonso Romero, musical by Rafael Sánchez Araña. La Boheme, by Puccini, will be on November 26, 28 and 30 with Bryan Hymmel, Lianna Haroutounian, Nadine Sierra and Massimo Cavalletti; stage direction by Antonio de Lucia, and musical direction to be defined.
