The Minister of Justice, Juan Carlos Campo placeholder image, has confirmed that the Law of Guarantees of Sexual Freedom, known as the Law of ‘only if it is yes’, is “in the analysis phase” and will arrive “immediately” at the Minister council to be approved by the Government.

“It will come very soon”, has assured the Minister of Justice this Tuesday June 29 at the press conference after the Council of Ministers.

In this way, it has confirmed what the Government delegate against Gender Violence, Victoria Rosell, has already advanced last May, when she said that the text would be ready in about “30 days”. Likewise, Equality had advanced that the rule would reach the Council of Ministers at the end of June.

Campo has specified that the law is “in the analysis phase” and has highlighted the “legislative production” of the Executive. “I do not know if extraordinary but, of course, it is very intense,” he emphasized.
