The Norwegian Magnus Carlsen wins the World Chess Championship - The Province

The young Norwegian prodigy Magnus Carlsen, often presented as one of the best chess players in history, rose on Wednesday with his fourth consecutive world title at the end of a tiebreak against the American Fabiano Caruana.

The 27-year-old Norwegian needed three semi-rapid games to win the tournament after both opponents finished the 12 regular games played in London since 9 November.
