The museums of Gran Canaria reveal their secrets in May

On May 18, the International Museum Day has been celebrated for more than 40 years. In 2022, under the motto
'The power of museums', ICOM (International Council of Museums) values ​​the power that these venues have to transform the world.

For the island museums managed by the Ministry of Culture of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, such an important date is the moment to put into practice that power of change through discovery. Last year they were

The Casa de Colón, the museum facility in the heart of Vegueta, is preparing a marathon open day for International Museum Day, on May 18. From
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Animation activities will be held that involve the implementation of an educational project in collaboration with the students of
TASOC (Sociocultural Animation) of the IES Pérez Galdós from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Among other actions, there will be a

The day will culminate with the performance of the theatrical monologue
