The mortgage firm to acquire a home was reduced in November for the fourth consecutive month, although only 0.5% year-on-year, compared to 2.1% the previous month, after absorbing the effect of the mortgage law, according to published data this Monday by the INE, reports Efe.
Last week it was learned that the trading operations they have extended their descent in November at 9.3%, which already adds four months of annual setbacks. Notary data they already showed that what they are decreasing are cash transactions, something that ratifies the data on Monday.
In November, 29,146 new mortgage contracts were signed, a figure 1.8% lower than that corresponding to the previous month.
The average amount of these mortgages – of which 42.7% were closed at a fixed rate, below 45% in October – decreased 0.9% year-on-year, but increased 0.4% compared to the previous month, to 129,753 euros, while the capital lent by the entities to acquire a home was reduced by 1.4% and added 3,781 million euros.
