The Canary Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy (ICHH), attached to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, continues to promote blood donation, giving access to residents and visitors from different municipalities in Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Gomera during the next week.
Where to donate in Gran Canaria
In the capital of Gran Canaria you can donate Monday in Triana from 15.45 to 21.15, where it will be repeated on Sunday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Also, on Monday there will be another team attending donors who go to the Institute of Secondary Education Toni Gallardo, on the road of Las Coloradas, from 8.45 to 14.15 and on Tuesday will move to the Institute of Secondary Education El Rincon, on Avenida José Sánchez Peñate, from 8.45 to 14.15 hours. On Tuesday you can also go to the unit installed in the El Batan sports center from 15.45 to 21.15; On Wednesday, the team will be at Luis Doreste Silva street, number 79, in front of Hiperdino, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and from 15.45 a.m. to 9:15 p.m. and on Thursday there will be an extractive day at CEIP Las Teresianas, at Pio XII street, number 34 , from 8.45 to 14.00 and from 2.30 to 20.00. Finally, on Saturday, the mobile unit will be located in the Alisios shopping center from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m.
For its part, San Bartolomé de Tirajana will house a mobile device during the next week at the Casa de la Cultura de Maspalomas, on Avenida Tejeda 72, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. In addition, on Thursday and Friday there will also be extractions in the Plaza del Tablero, in front of La Iglesia, in Calle Haití, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Finally, Telde will move a mobile unit next Friday that will bring the donation closer to students, teachers and P.A.S. of the Institute of Secondary Education Lila, in Poeta Rafael Travieso street, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., moving on Saturday to the Las Terrazas shopping center from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m.
As for the fixed points, the ICHH has two branches, one on the street in Alfonso XIII number 4, in the capital of Gran Canaria, open from Monday to Friday from 8.15 to 21.30 and another in Hospiten Clínica Roca Vecindario, on Avenida de Canarias number 54, open on Tuesdays from 15.45 to 20.15 and Wednesdays from 8.45 to 13.30.
You can also go to other fixed points of the Canary Transfusion Network such as the Maternal and Child University Hospital from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 13.30 and from 15.30 to 21.00 (except on Thursday, which can only be donated in the morning); the University Hospital of Gran Canaria Dr. Negrín from Monday to Friday from 8.45 to 20.00 and the University Hospital of Gran Canaria, where you can donate from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 20.00.
Where to donate in Tenerife
The mobile units of the ICHH will visit different municipalities of the Island during the next days. Thus, in the capital of Tenerife they will be able to donate the troops from the Hoya Fría Stadion on Monday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and on Friday extractions will be carried out next to the MAC, at Robayna street number 2, from 8.45 to 13.45.
For its part, in San Cristobal de La Laguna a team will bring blood donation to students and teachers of the Institute of Secondary Education La Laboral, on Tuesday from 8.30 to 14.00 and from 15.30 to 21.00 and, as every Friday, with the Cathedral from 8.30 to 13.30.
Arona will host a unit all week, located next to the Los Cristianos Cultural Center, Monday from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm and 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday from 9:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Finally, El Rosario will receive a visit from the mobile unit of the ICHH that will be located in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento on Wednesday from 8.30 am to 1 pm and from 3:30 pm to 8 pm for Thursday, travel to El Tanque and attend to donors and residents in front of the City Council from 9.30 am to 1 pm and from 4:30 pm to 8 pm
As for the fixed points, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife it will be possible to donate in the headquarters of the ICHH of the street Méndez Núñez number 14, from Monday to Friday from 8.15 to 21.30 hours. Also from Monday to Thursday from 1:00 pm to 7:30 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm extractions will be carried out at the Health Center of San Isidro, in Granadilla de Abona.
And as for the fixed points of the Canary Transfusion Network, at the University Hospital of the Canary Islands can be donated from Sunday to Friday from 8.30 to 21.30 and Saturday from 8.30 to 14.30 and from 15.30 to 20.00 and at the University Hospital of Our Lady of La Candelaria from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where to donate in La Gomera
In this second week of the campaign on the Colombian island, the mobile device will visit Valle Gran Rey, staying on Monday and Tuesday on Avenida Marítima from 4 pm to 9 pm; On Wednesday, it will be operational at Avenida Marítima de Playa de Santiago, in Alajeró, from 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm and on Thursday from 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm and on Friday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm it will return to Plaza de Las Américas in the capital city of La Gomera.
