The Santa Catalina, a Royal Hideaway Hotel raised the curtain again yesterday to host a new concert within the 1st Edition of the Santa Catalina Classics classical music festival, the continuation of the Sunset Classics Fomentor, which kicked off a little more than one month.
This time it was the turn of two great lyrical promises; the baritone Ihor Voievodin and the mezzo-soprano Olga Syniakova, who in their ascending career have already triumphed on stages such as the Palau de les Arts, or the Dnipró Opera House.
The artists delighted the public, along with the artistic director of the Santa Catalina Classics Festival, Felipe Aguirre, at the piano, with a demonstration of the magic of the voice. All thanks to an extensive program in which works such as Là ci darem la mano, by Don Giovanni, by Mozart or Tu sola… Deh, tu bell’anima, by I Capuleti ei Montecchi, by Bellini, among many others, were performed.
This concert will be followed on August 20 by a piano recital by the Ukrainian Dmytro Choni and the Music Talks, the musical talks directed by Felipe Aguirre, Artistic Director of the Santa Catalina Classics Festival, which present an entertaining and profound vision of music.
