The kings will visit the Valencian Community this Friday on the occasion of their autonomic tour and will star in events in both Benidorm (Alicante) and Valencia.
After calling the day before in Castilla-La Mancha and, specifically, in Cuenca, Felipe VI and Doña Letizia will arrive in the Valencian Community, which is the fifth stage of their tour.
The first act of their agenda will take place in Benidorm, where they will meet with representatives of the Valencian Business Confederation and the unions to analyze the economic situation in the region after the coronavirus pandemic.
In particular, the situation of the tourism sector will be addressed, especially affected by COVID-19 and vital for the Valencian economy.
The kings will be able to check the situation of the businesses in this sector on the spot during the walk that they are scheduled to take later on the Levante beach in Benidorm.
From there they will later move to Valencia to preside in the afternoon of the 2019 Innovation and Design awards ceremony.
During their regional tour, the kings are transferring their support to institutions and groups of all kinds after the efforts they are making to face the consequence of the pandemic.
After the Valencian Community, the next stage of their tour will be Murcia, where they will stop next Tuesday, July 7.
