At this time, the accumulated defaults to Social Security in 2015, 2016 and 2017 amount to 8.5 million euros of principal debt. "In a second period, the responsibility in these fraudulent acts rests with Sans and the Garrido López brothers," adds the magistrate, who estimates fraud in this second stage at 16.1 million euros. "In this case, the last defaults that are accounted for are those corresponding to the end of 2018, which would result in a much greater damage if the interests, costs and surcharges generated in the process are considered," says De la Mata.

In turn, the National Audience instructor also focuses on Associated Dental Institutes (IOA), a group linked to Luis Sans – who had led the acquisition of iDental through Weston Hill – and with whom he allegedly wanted to repeat The macro scam under a new brand. According to the judge, this company caused a damage to Social Security of 1.6 million euros.

He iDental case It exploded last year, when the network of clinics closed unexpectedly and left thousands of patients pulled – the autonomies came to calculate that the possible affected amounted to 400,000 throughout the country – who saw how their treatments were interrupted or not even They started. De la Mata assumed the investigation and concluded that the owners had designed a complex network of societies to deceive patients, people with scarce resources who were hired to finance their dental treatments, money that also ended up in the coffers. of the company and that later, according to the investigations of the National Police, was diverted to accounts controlled by the owners and was not intended to care for patients.

In the order of this October 30, the judge imposes more than 100 million euros of bail to the seven defendants in this separate piece.
