The Court of First Instance and Instruction 4 of Paterna (Valencia), acting as guard, has assumed the investigation for the death of two minors in Godella and has decreed the secrecy of the proceedings. The case is open for two crimes of homicide, as reported by the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV)

The judge authorized yesterday Thursday the removal of the corpses and its subsequent transfer to dependencies of the Institute of Legal Medicine for the practice of the corresponding autopsies.

Likewise, the magistrate has initiated a summary for two crimes of homicide, without prejudice to subsequent qualification, while the Civil Guard continues to practice investigative measures.

The parents of the children - a three-and-a-half-year-old boy and a five-month-old girl who were found dead without being buried near the squatter house where they lived - are in detention. The mother was arrested after revealing to the agents the place where the bodies were found and the father has also been arrested after remaining on the day of Thursday investigated and interrogated by the police. According to sources of the investigation, Europa Press has predicted that both parents will be taken to court tomorrow.

In addition, the municipalities of Godella and Rocafort (Valencia) have decreed three days of mourning for the death of the two brothers found dead on Thursday afternoon in the municipality. Likewise, they will keep minutes of silence at 12 o'clock this Friday at the doors of both town halls in memory of the children.

In a statement, the Godella City Council lamented "this sad event" and thanked the work of the 110 people who participated in the operation, "between civil guards, local police, firemen and members of Civil Protection," they say.

The bodies of the children, a three-and-a-half-year-old boy and a five-month-old girl, were found in the afternoon of this Thursday separately buried very close to the house where they lived with their parents in two different spaces, one at a time 75 meters and the other at approximately 150 meters. The mother has been arrested, although neither she nor the father has confessed the authorship of the facts.

The children had been last seen on Wednesday by a friend of the family who brought them food.

The search operation began when he received at least two calls on Thursday morning warning that screams had been heard in the house occupied by this couple in the municipality of Godella, near Rocafort.

The Civil Guard and the Local Police verified that the father was in the house, but not the mother. Some testimonies indicated that she had left running naked, until she was found at midday hidden in a drum, with scratches "own of having run, without more". In addition, when asked about the children, the father's responses would have been "incoherent."

In attention to the media, the delegate of the Government in the Community, Juan Carlos Fulgencio, explained that, although at first the mother did not show an attitude of collaboration with the Civil Guard and carried out confusing demonstrations as her children "had to resurrect ", the agents could finally convince her of the convenience of revealing where the bodies were.
