The investigating judge of the Federation proposes the demotion of the category for Fuenlabrada – La Provincia

After resolving the second challenge raised by the Fuenlabrada, the Examining Judge of the Spanish Federation, Ricardo Esteban Díaz Sánchez, has just presented his brief in which proposes “downgrading” and a fine of 15,001 euros for Fuenlabrada for conduct contrary to good sporting order, an offense classified as very serious in article 68.1 of the RFEF.

The parties have business days to file an appeal and then it will be the Competition Committee, the first to decide, although it is likely that it will reach Appeal and even CAS because all parties are open to exhaust all legal avenues, even ordinary justice.

Article 61 of the RFEF disciplinary code states that the relegated team will finish the championship with 0 points and will occupy one of the places that lead to demotion, which means that Fuenlabrada would finish last and Dépor, 18th, which would aspire to maintain the category. The A Coruña club and the Numantia they are attentive to the outcome of events with the League of 24 as an alternative scenario.
