The IMF subtracts two points from Spanish growth in 2021 and 2022 and buries the dream of a rapid recovery

It was an open secret after the trickle of downward revisions to Spanish growth in recent weeks, but the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has come to give it a letter of nature. The Spanish economic recovery will not be as fast or as vigorous as the Government has been defending over the last few months, it will be much more moderate to the point that the country will not recover the levels of well-being prior to the pandemic until the year 2023. IMF analysts have cut their growth expectations for Spain in just three months from 5.7% to 4.6% for this year and from 6.4% to 5.8% for which It comes, in the heat of inflation and the lower execution of European funds.
