The Canary Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy (ICHH), dependent on the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, will make available to neighbors of Valleseco and Arucas a mobile blood donation device in order to attract and retain the residents of both municipalities of Gran Canaria.
This week you can donate in Valleseco today Thursday and tomorrow Friday in the pedestrian street next to the plaza de la Iglesia from 9.15 to 13.30 and from 16.15 to 20.30 and in Arucas the neighbors of the El Puertillo area will be able to approach the mobile device located next to the seafront from 16.00 a.m. 9:00 pm
As for the fixed points, the ICHH It has a street address in Alfonso XIII, number 4, in the capital of Gran Canaria, open Monday through Friday from 8.15 to 21.30.
You can also go to other fixed points of the Canary Transfusional Network such as the University Hospital of Gran Canaria where you can donate from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 8 pm and Sunday, January 20 from 4 to 9 pm; the Maternal and Child University Hospital from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 1 pm and from 3:30 pm to 9 pm and the University Hospital of Gran Canaria Dr. Negrín from Monday to Friday from 8:15 am to 8:00 pm.
The ICHH emphasizes that making this gesture on a regular basis twice a year contributes positively to the sustainability of the health system, thus achieving the hospital requirements and, therefore, avoid making use of reserves in blood banks.
