Madrid parquet opened the session on Tuesday with an advance of 0.34%, which led to the selective up to 8,953 points, pending the auction of the Treasury, in whichis expected to raise up to 3,000 million euros in letters, and of the examination that Brussels has begun to make of the budget project of the Spanish Government.
Among the promotions, the most significant were Ferrovial (+ 4.69%) and Enagás (+ 2.33%). The first has communicated this Tuesday to theNational Securities Market Commission (CNMV)that has hired an external advisor to study the possible sale, total or partial, of its Services division.
For its part, Enagás has published its results for the period January-September, in which it obtained a net profit of 325.7 million euros, 13.3% less, due to the accounting effect derived from the revaluation of GNL Quintero in the First semester of 2017.
After Ferrovial and Enagás, the progress made in the start of the session of the Acciona and Iberdrola shares, which were revalued slightly more than 1.1%, also stood out. The company chaired by Ignacio Sánchez Galán has reached an agreement with the British Drax Group for the sale of its entire stake in Scottish Power Generation for an amount of 702 million pounds sterling (about 801 million euros).
On the other hand, Dia, whose titles collapsed yesterday 42%after lowering its earnings forecasts and suspending the dividend, started the day with an advance of 0.5%.
As for the declines, those of Amadeus (-0.67%), Meliá (-0.49%) and CIE Automotive (-0.44%) stood out.
The main European squares opened or flat or with slight advances. Thus, Milan and Frankfurt revalued 0.2% in the opening, while London and Paris woke up with little movement.
In the debt market,the Spanish risk premium was around 117 basis points, with interest at 1.6%, while in the currency market the euro gained ground to the dollar and was exchanged at 1.1569 'greenbacks'.
