The Ibex 35 turns around half a session in a semifestive day in Spain

The Ibex 35 0.31% was left in the park at mid-session this Thursday, in a semifestive day that opened with a slight rise of 0.09% to descend later, but staying above the psychological level of 9,500 points.

Specifically, at 12:10 this Thursday Santo, the selective Spanish moved in the 9.520 points, after chaining on Wednesday its sixth consecutive day up and peek at highs since September last year.

In a festive day in almost all Spain, except in Catalonia and Valencian Community, the only reference for investors has been the publication of the PMI index in the euro area, which reflected that the deceleration of the economy would be holding back business activity in the continent.

Thus, they stood out on the side of the Inditex raises, with a rise of 1.75%, followed by Siemens Gamesa (+ 0.91%), Aena (+ 0.75%), Ferrovial (+ 0.62%), Mediaset Spain (+ 0.60%), Indra (+ 0.48%) and Acerinox (+ 0.47%).

Among the decreases, the most significant corresponded to Banco Sabadell, which fell by 2.62%, CaixaBank (-2.36%), Bankinter (-1.38%), Banco Santander (-1.32%), Bankia ( -1.07%) and ArcelorMittal (-0.87%).

Conversely, the main European squares have left behind the falls with which they opened the market, highlighting the rise of 0.52% of Frankfurt and 0.36% of the Paris Stock Exchange at mid-session, while London remained practically flat (-0.08%).

In the debt market, the Spanish risk premium moved around 102 basis points, with interest at 1.1%, while in the currency market the euro lost slightly ground against the dollar and was exchanged to 1,1250 'greenbacks'.

On the other hand, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, reference for the Old Continent, was at a price of 71.50 dollars, while Texas was placed at 63.68 dollars.
