The announcement of the American pharmaceutical company Pfizer and the German firm BioNTech that the vaccine against Covid-19 in which they are working has unleashed euphoria in the Spanish selective that rises more than 8% at noon, far exceeding the share of 7,400 points, something that he had not achieved since July 22 of this year. Specifically, this level of efficacy has been achieved seven days after the second dose, that is, 28 days after the start of the double-dose vaccination, although the aforementioned efficacy could vary as the study progresses.
Specifically, the values related to tourism and banking are registering record revaluations: Amadeus leads the rises whose values soar by around 40%, followed by IAG which rises a whopping 34.48%, Meliá Hotels which is revalued 23.79% and Aena 17.79%. For its part, the banking sector, which is usually one of the hardest hit in this context, is currently in the grip of euphoria with strong revaluations: Bankia (+ 10.30%); BAnco Santander (+ 13.93%), BBVA (+ 12.51%), Banco SAbadell (+ 11.41%), Bankinter (+ 7.70%) and Caixabank (+ 9.57%). The good performance of ACS (+ 10.92%) and REpsol (+ 9.77%) also stands out.
