The Parliament of the United Kingdom approved yesterday an amendment by whichdeclares against a Brexit without agreement, a first step to overcome the stalemate in which the divorce process between London and Brussels had entered by the repeated refusal of the deputies to accept the text negotiated by the parties.
The so-called Spelman / Dromey amendment, by the authors of the same, has been approved by 312 votes in favor and 308 against, a narrow margin of four votes that gives an idea of the political tensions around the Brexit in the legislative seat.
