The Ibex 35 closes with a decrease of 0.49% - La Provincia

TheIBEX 35has closed the session this Monday with adecrease of 0.49%, which has led the selective to lose the psychological level of 9,000 points, despite being a quieter week than the previous one in terms of macroeconomic references, although it will continue to be marked by the presentation of results.

The index has finally been placed at 8,975.2 integers, after knowing that in Spain unemployment rose by 83,464 people in January, its highest increase since 2014, and decreased by 190,767 people in the last year. In addition, Social Security registered its worst January since 2013 after losing 204,865 members.

The biggest falls have been forSabadell (-4.79%), CaixaBank (-4.54%), Siemens Gamesa (-3.61%), Bankinter (-2.13%), Bankia (-2.09%), ArcelorMittal (-1.38%), ACS (-1.21%) and Santander (-0.94%). BBVA has fallen by 0.5%, so all banks were negative.

On the contrary, en the side of the rises were Red Eléctrica (+ 1.99%), Indra (+ 1.51%),Mediaset (+ 1.5%), Amadeus (+ 1.31%), IAG (+ 0.96%), Colonial (+ 0.95%), Grifols (+ 0.73%) and Iberdrola (+0, 39%).

Out of the Ibex 35,Unicaja erased its promotions, until closing with a fall of 0.05%, after rising 1.1% in the opening when presenting its results, with a net profit of 153 million in 2018, 10.2% more. The entity will propose the distribution of a cash dividend of 40% of the net result, anticipating two years the expected expectation for 2020 in the IPO.

The rest of the European stock exchanges showed decreases of 0.03% in the case of Frankfurt and 0.38% in the case of Paris, while London ended with gains of 0.19%.

On the other hand,price of Brent quality oil barrel, reference for the Old Continent, stood at 62.19 dollars, while Texas was placed at 54.14 dollars.

Finally, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.1430 'greenbacks', while the Spanish risk premium stood at 108 basis points, with the interest charged on the 10-year bond at 1.255%.
